Push button switch can be defined as being normally open(NO) or normally close(NC), normally open switch is OFF position that connect the circuit when actuated, while normally closed is stay ON position switch close the circuit when actuated, the function of push button switches can be classified in the point of switching circuit.
The push button switch are available with SPST, DPDT,SPDT,DPST configurations, the SPST push button switch offers two terminals, it can be opened or closed a single circuit, it is a simple circuit to control the equipment to break or open; if there has LED in the push button, the LED terminal is separated, and the led illuminated indicates the devices from a sleeping mode to an active state.
Push button switch is widespread in various applications, such as vending machines, portable equipment, household appliance, power tools and industrial controls.
