When we use the SMD type tact switch, there will be a lot of potential problems, and some areas that we often ignore in use; The following is introduced, is the surface mount tact switch common problems and need to pay attention to when using.

1. When welding the terminals of the SMD tact switch, if load is applied to the terminals, there may be loosening, deformation and electrical deterioration due to different conditions. Please pay attention to this when using.

2. When using through-hole printed circuit boards and boards other than those recommended, due to the influence of thermal stress, please make full confirmation of welding conditions in advance.

3. When welding twice, please do it after the first welding part is restored to room temperature. Continuous heating may cause peripheral deformation, loose terminals, fall off and decrease electrical characteristics.

4. For the setting of welding conditions, it is necessary to confirm the actual mass production conditions.

5. the product is designed and manufactured on the premise of DC resistance load. When using other loads [inductive load, capacitive load], please confirm separately.

6. PCB mounting hole and mode, please refer to the recommended size recorded in the product drawing.

7. Tactile SMD momentary switch please be used for direct operation by people according to the structure of the switch. Do not use for mechanical testing functions.

8. Smd tactile switch operation, if the specified load is applied, the switch will be damaged. Please be careful not to apply more force than specified on the switch.

9. Please avoid pressing the operation part from the side.

10. Press the center part of the switch as far as possible for the flat shaft type. For hinged structures, the pressing position of the shaft will move when pressed, please pay special attention.  

11. After the tactile switch is installed, please contact the person when it passes through the heat storage hardening furnace due to the binder hardening of other parts.

12.  If the material around the switch produces corrosive gas, it may cause bad contact and other phenomena, so please make full confirmation.

13. Carbon contact point has the characteristics of contact resistance change due to push load. When it is used in voltage division circuit, please use it after full confirmation.

14. For models other than the closed type, please pay full attention to the invasion of foreign bodies
