The construction of a toggle switch

The toggle switch is consist of different components like a lever(rod), spring, O-ring, plunger,moving armature, case and base.
The lever is optional on top of a switch which is applied to switch the circuit, most of these are made with resin material or it will use metal to enhance the strength on larger.
The spring in the toggle switch is installed within the lever, the spring pushes forward or backward on the level, it is always connect with base.
O-ring in the toggle switch is a circle shape rubber part that seals the connections between the case ,base and moving rod parts.
Th plunger in the toggle switch is a resin material that connected to the base of the lever, this design ways can be in connect through the bottom of the base and limits the range of movement of the lever all the time.
Moving armature is a U-shaped contact that is fixed to the rod, this part moves through the lever, the terminal is located in centre and switch the condition of the switch mechanism.
The case is used to protect the inner components of the toggle switch and also it provide support to the lever.
The base is used with the case to guard the internal components of the toggle switch, the switch’s terminal sticks out from the bottom of the base.
