Consider the following reasons:
Cause 1: Due to the large capacity of the load, the arc and the contact will fly around.
Countermeasure 1: Do not switch the load directly with the switch, switch the load with the relay and contactor.
Cause 2: High humidity leads to drastic changes in ambient temperature, and a large number of water droplets are immersed. After liquid immersion, it will cause insulation carbonization due to arc heat.
Countermeasure 2: Eliminate the cause. Or put in a box or use a sealed switch.
