The Common Type Toggle Switch

Toggle switch will normally remain in position until manually moved again, even though the momentary toggle switches also include an attached spring that will pull the lever back to its original position once released.

The function of on-on toggle switch which controls two devices, each position of the toggle switch activates one of them, so this type of toggle switch is called as changeover switches.
