Key Components and Functions:

Common (COM):

The common terminal serves as the input point for the electrical circuit. It is the terminal where the power source or signal is connected.

Normally Open (NO):

The normally open terminal is an output terminal where the circuit is open (disconnected) when the switch is in its default state. When the switch is activated (lever or plunger is pressed), the connection between the common and the normally open terminal closes, allowing current to flow.

Normally Closed (NC):

The normally closed terminal is an output terminal where the circuit is closed (connected) when the switch is in its default state. When the switch is activated, the connection between the common and the normally closed terminal opens, interrupting the current flow.

Operation Principle:

When the actuator (lever, roller, or plunger) of the 3-pin micro limit switch is triggered by mechanical movement, it snaps the internal contacts between the common terminal and either the normally open or normally closed terminal. This snap-action mechanism provides a quick and reliable switching operation with minimal movement, ensuring precise control and feedback.
