Mechanical Keyboard Switch Types

Concerning the characteristics, the keyboard switch has three models:clicky switches, tactile switches, linear switches.

Clicky switches is often made with blue stem to distinguish, it offers an audible click sound, when arriving at the actuation point. The key features of blue switch is that you needn’t to press the key switch always, upon you release the key then you will get the feedback. in a short, mechanical keyboard blue switch is tactile and clicky switch

Tactile switches is similar with our tact switch, it provides tactile response and display with brown stem, we also called it brown switch ;when you push down it to actuation point; because you push down the key switch, you will receive a small bump, that its stem structure causing, that tactile feedback indicates the successfully registered.

Linear switch is the simple key switch, the feedback from you begin pushing the keyswitch until bottoming out, it doesn’t has haptic tactile or audible sound while hitting the actuation point, when you used it, you will bottom out on every switch.

It’s indicated with red or black switch, the red switch is 45gf and black is 60gf.
