This is a Latching Contact, Torch Tactile Push Button 6 Pin DIP DPDT Switch.
Key Switch 5.8 x 5.8mm Pushbutton Switch Through Hole Double Row Self-locking 6 Pins,
6 Pin Push Switch also known as Mini DPDT Push Switch,Unlike momentary switches which connect the wires of the switch only for a second, this switch retains its ON-OFF state till pushed later on. For example, if I push it once so that it’s turned on, it will remain in ON state till it’s pushed again. It is a self locking switch so it will remain closed after you make connections and connection will only break after you push the button again to break off the connection, That’s why this switch is useful in controlling power connections most of the time.Its applications include in calculators, electrical appliances, PCB mounted switches, magnetic locks etc.
